Brief Answer:
post viral/infectious cough, lung cancer not likely

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Lung cancer does not usually occur at your age, 27. It is more common in older persons.

This means that you are not likely dying of lung cancer

There is a condition called post viral/infectious cough, where a cough occurs after the other cough/cold symptoms have resolved.
This can last up to 6 weeks in some persons.

Post viral/infectious cough is common. The exact appropriate treatment is not known but you can try an antihistamine decongestant combination since the tickling is likely due to mucus at the back of the throat.

Antihistamine/decongestant combinations such as benadryl d, claritine d, allegra d, zyrtec d-- help with mucus and the associated cough

I hope this helps
