Is Omnacortil, Montek LC And Eto-salbetol Safe During Pregnancy?
hello doctor, My wife is pregnant by almost 15 weeks and she is having cough problem, Earlier our doctor had prescribed her with Azithral 500 and Allegra but the problem remained as it was, so now our physician has suggested omnacortil 40, Montek LC and ETO salbetol, he told that is is asthmetic problem as she had problem in breathing also. Kindly suggest whether this prescription is safe during pregnancy.

When we prescribe a medication, we do consider the health status of the patient and the benefits he / she gets from the treatment. If left untreated, asthmatic problems will get worse and then, the life of both mother and child will be critical. We do not want this. Hence, her doctor had found that getting these drugs will be of great benefits for your wife rather than non taking. We hope nothing will happen to the baby, and the mother will recover soon.
