Brief Answer:
Multiple sclerosis gives low vaginal lubrication and sensation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using Healthcaremagic to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.

Multiple sclerosis does not give vaginitis, cervicitis or bacterial vaginoses. It causes though reduced libido, difficulties in achieving orgasm, decreased vaginal lubrication, decreased vaginal sensation, and dyspareunia. Especially the decreased vaginal lubrication can give those problems.

Are you asking about this because you have multiple sclerosis? Or you are afraid that you may have multiple sclerosis? Because vaginitis and the others can have many other most possible causes, and it is very very low chance that they are caused by multiple sclerosis- it cannot be diagnosed by using those problems as an indication.

Hope this is helpful and answers your question.

Brief Answer:
Cervicitis and vaginitis is called every inflammation of vagina and cervix.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

PAP smear is not related with the problems above. So even if it was not normal, it would not explain any of them.

Cervicitis and vaginitis as terms that are used because of the inflammation of the cervix and vagina. So every infection can cause them. Sexually transmitted infections can cause them and also a problem who is not sexually transmitted that is bacterial vaginosis.

So my main recommendation is that you do the tests to rule out the sexually transmitted infections. Once they are ruled out, then the cause of them can surely be the bacterial vaginosis. Bacterial vaginosis is a disbalance of the normal bacteria, which grow up in number more then they should and cause the vaginitis an cervicitis.

My recommendation is that you avoid using vaginal soaps and showers, so anything that might change the ph of the vagina.
Also, check the condoms that you have been using and maybe consider changing the brand.
Be careful when you use tampons or daily pads, because they may make you more prone, ect.

Hope this information is helpful and answers your question.
