Question: I have a question about smelling marijuana resin that was used in an electronic cigarette by another user. First of all, I do NOT smoke pot. Two days ago I was talking to a man that owns his own business that I’ve known for many years and I know he does smoke pot. I was visiting him at his place of business and he jokingly sticks a box with what looked to be an electronic cigarette under my nose and told me to smell it. I did take a couple of whiffs, not knowing what to expect and the first time I could not smell anything. He told me to take a deep whiff and I did and then I could smell the pot. He laughed and I told him to get it away from me because he could get me fired because he knows the large company I work for does random drug testing. I’m not sure if I was just being self-conscious and worried but I felt a little high about 30 minutes later and couldn’t believe it. I told my wife about this when I got home 2 hours later and we both have been worried sick that I could get randomly drug tested and we aren’t sure if those two whiffs of the residue in the guy’s electronic cigarette would be enough to show up on a urine drug test. Question: Is my fear about testing positive on a urine drug test warranted??
