Can Non-alcoholic Drink Be Consumed While Taking Clonazepam?

default
Posted on Mon, 13 Jul 2015
Question: I take clonazepam 0.5 mg three times a day as part of my meds for depression. I have been on this drug for over a year and a half. Is it safe to drink a non alcoholic beer that contains less than 0.5% alcohol?

Brief Answer:
this is a very small quantity to interact with clonazepam

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

this alcoholic content would be very low to cause any significant interaction with clonazepam. It's OK to try it. Just be sure to avoid driving and putting yourself at risk for problems due to dizziness or imbalance (you won't have any but just in case).

I hope you find my comments helpful!
