Question: Hi I am 4 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I took 15 tablets of premolut n. Is there any risk on developing baby.
Brief Answer:
it supports pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
There is no evidence that progesterone as oral or vaginal medication causes miscarriage & much evidence that it is supportive for early pregnancy & reduces preterm birth in at risk patients . Also , mostof it is cleared during the first pass metabolism by liver and the remaining that is absorbed by GI tract infact supports continuation of pregnancy.
