Question: Can pain and numbness occur in the gallbladder? My husband says his insides feel like they have fallen asleep when he lays on his right side (just under his rib). At other times, he feels pain there.

Brief Answer:
Yes it can happen, Gall bladder / stomach discomfort

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. yes pain and numbness can pretty much occur in gall bladder issues as well as stomach discomfort like GERD or gastritis. Give your husband some antacids some anti spasmodics and make sure he adapts a friendly diet and lifestyle with losing weight, avoiding sweets and chocolates , eating small frequent meals etc.

If the symptoms persist even then get him to a doctor they will run some labs like liver and pancreatic functions tests and an ultrasound and we will have our answers. But i am sure it won't come to that. Just a few antacids, anti spasmodics and diet and lifestyle modifications will suffice.

I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
