Can Penis Ring For Erection Problem Cause Blood Clots?

default
Posted on Fri, 30 May 2014
Question: I am 62... on aspirin therapy (one 82mg per day) as a result of a pulmonary embolus several years ago. I purchased a penis ring, which helps improve the firmness of my erections. I leave it on no more than 30 min. As a result of my blood being constricted using this device, I was worried about the possibility of developing a blood clot. I've already consulted with a hematologist and would like a second opinion. My hematologist said "no problem" but I wanted to make sure.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for choosing wwwhealthcaremagic
Aspirin will make your blood thinner so chances of bleeding is increased . Theoretically speaking, ring may injure the penis and cause internal bleeding and consequent problems , though if the ring is left for not more than 30 minutes, chances are very slim. but slight chance will always remain. Intrapenile injection or PDE5 inhibitors like tadalafil may be a safer choice but everything depends on personal liking. If you are happy with this, you can use without any fear.
