Can Shingles Cause Sensation Of Fullness In The Anus And Blood In Stool?
Question: Hi I've recently been diagnosed with shingles I am in the rash stage about seven days into the rash they're starting to get the blackness covering them I recently today have been having a lot of fullness in the rectal area and I just passed it a small spongy mucus without stolo but I constantly feel the urge that I have to go. Constant pressure but nothing passes a little blood tinge mucus spongy chunk-is this just part of shingles or something else

Shingles can not cause the problems that you have rently developed namely the fullness around anus, mucus, blood in stool, urge to pass stool may most probably be due to severe colitis.
I would advise you to consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination, investigations of stool and blood and reference to a General Surgeon or a Gastroenterologist for further evaluation and proper management.
