Hello
Thanks for the query
You daughter cannot receive the shingles vaccine, it should have been given before the transplant. Giving the vaccine now will cause life threatening infection. I strongly recommend against taking the vaccine

Thank you for your attempt to try. However, i still do not know if it is safe for her to be around me for a certain period of time after i receive the shot. She said she was told by transplant Dr. That she should not be around anyone who gets the vaccine, but we do not know for what period of time. A week, a month, a day?

Hello
Thanks for getting back, I am sorry for the short delay in my response, there was an emergency in my ward which took time.
After the vaccination some people get fever for 2 days, during this time I recommend that there should be at a distance from your daughter for a minimum of 1 week and also make sure not to share plates, spoons and clothes during this time.
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
