Can Smoking Weed Or Taking Cholesterol Lowering Drugs Distort ECG Test Results?
Question: I had to do a test for my insurance company. It determines my fee and my acceptance. The results are not with me but the doctor told me to redo the ECG test because my heart conduction results were a bit off. Not sure what he meant.
What i didnt report is that i reguraly smoke weed and at that time temperorly took a choelsterol lowering drug.
Obviously i have no idea about the test so can anyone please tell me if the result could have been distorted by weed or the cholesterol lowering drug.
I have to even redo the ECG tomorrow. Any help please?!

Detailed Answer:
Hello
after going through the medical details provided by you i would like to tell you that having a cholesterol lowering medicine does not have any effect on heart but smoking weed can definitely be the probable reason of your abnormal ECG.
Smoking weed can also lead to a heart attack.
Kindly Upload your ECG from your dashboard for me to see it and then tell you exactly what the issue is.
Kind Regards
