Can Toxoplasmosis Cause Cerebral Atrophy?

Question: my daughter (43 yrs)has been advised she hasprominent CGS spacesalso benign arachnoid cysts. what does tthis mean? she had had toxoplasmosis - is this associated?

CGS space is most likely CSF space,please confirm it.
Prominent CSF space is generally due to generalized atrophic changes in brain.
Atrophic changes are age related findings and it is expected finding in all persons with advancement of age.This condition doesn't require any treatment.
Toxoplasmosis in adults doesn't cause atrophy whereas congenital toxoplasmosis may cause cerebral atrophy.

Arachnoid cysts are generally benign and doesn't cause any symptoms.It is important to know its site because it may cause symptoms in certain areas of brain.
In asymptomatic cases,this condition doesn't require any treatment.
Surgical intervention may be required in symptomatic cases.
Your daughter may need follow up only.
