Can Uterine Fibroids Cause Dizziness?
Question: Do uterine fibroids cause dizziness? I have no other symptoms that I am aware of; however, I have an egg-sized (as of last year) fibroid found by my doctor during an ultrasound. No kids, 40 years old, 5 foot 9, 168 lbs; physically active; no health issues.

Since when you have this complaint? Have you suffered from any viral infection recently? How did it start. Is it present while upright or when lying down?
Dixziness can be due to pregnancy, anaemia, dehydration, low blood sugar, migraine, inner ear problems, poor blood supply to posterior part of the brain and in some heart conditions.
since you are using contraception pregnancy is not the cause for dizziness in your case. Dizziness while lying down is usually due to inner ear problems. Since you have written that you have no other health issues, it is unlikely to be due to dehydration.
You need to have thorough examination. First consult Physician. Get blood pressure and ECG checked. You need to get your blood checked for evidence of anaemia. If need be he will refer you to ENT specialist or cardiologist for further evaluation.
