Noted the long and detailed history about
peripheral vascular disease, amputation below knee, recurrent attacks of vertigo, nausea, tested negative for Meniere's disease, starts as fullness in left ear, fluctuating
hearing loss, researching vascular causes.
As per the history you have provided the commonest causes I can think about are as follows:
Peripheral vascular disease is known to cause these symptoms hence should be investigated accordingly.
Other vascular causes such as loop around the
vestibulocochlear nerve is another cause and MRI with MR
Angiography can give the best diagnosis.
Dizziness, nausea is treated symptomatically.
Fluctuating
hypertension can be the reason.
All other reasons should be investigated, found and treated accordingly.
