Can Uterine Lining Grow Back After Uterine Ablation For Future Pregnancies?
Question: Can my uterine lining grow back after uterine ablation so that I can hope for a healthy pregnancy? I have light periods now each month. Does that mean it is growing back or did I permanently destroy my chances of having another bio baby?

Uterine ablation is a technique of burning the endometrium as a treatment modality for endometrial hyperplasia and menorrhagia and is performed in women in whom fertility is not a concern at all. This is helpful in reducing the bleeding by not allowing menorrhagia and more often creates amenorrhoea or absence of menses. The chances of pregnancy following uterine ablation are remote and the endometrium so formed hence is disordered endometrium and not suitable to allow implantation of embryo.
The procedure permanently removes a thin tissue layer of the lining of the uterus to stop or reduce excessive or abnormal bleeding in women for whom childbearing is complete.Unfortunately , the chances of conception are bleak or negative after uterine ablation.
