Can Vaginal Infection Be Contracted Through Sexual Intercourse?

Question: Just found out I have s.simulants in urine..starting antibiotics tomorrow..is this transferable to husband also, the doc said follow up in 6 months..shouldn't urine be checked sooner to make sure gone.. Thank you
