Clitorial adhesions usually cause a closed and painful clitoris. It is mostly present since birth. In some cases it may be acquired due to frequent infections and unnatural masturbation practices.
The treatment usually involves gentle cleaning of the adhesions. Usually the patient herself is able to clean the adhesions. In rare cases surgery may be needed.
