Child Cries In The Evening And Night. Especially When Passing Motion In Yellow. What Is Wrong?

Question: Our child is crying every day in the evening hours. Specifically at night child is crying a lot.

Observations: When she is going to motion, she is crying a lot. Motion is normal yellow colour, soft but sticky.

No cold, cough or any other problems

Thanks for posting your query.

What is your child is having is infantile colic and that is absolutely normal.

This occurs in most of the infants till 4 months of age.

Please do the following which should help.

Make sure to burp the baby after feeding every time.
Make her lie on her stomach when her stomach is empty.
Ask mother to take light diet and avoid high fatty foods and maize products.She need to drink plenty of fluids.
Give colic aid drops before feed up to 3-4 times in a day.
Please avoid giving cyclopam drops.

This is thing which will go with time and there is nothing to worry about. Some discomfort while passing stool is normal.
