Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi My daughter has a 1 and a half week old baby boy, who sometimes cries for quie long periods, i have checked up on colic sights and they are saying baby usually cries up to four hours, her baby has been crying more than the stated four hours, is this ok could this still be a colic symtom
If baby is otherwise playful, feeding well, passing stools and urine normally, and sleeping well in between, nothing to worry. Some fussiness is expected only. If baby feels lethargic, refusing to feed we need further evaluation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
