Child Diagnosed With Molluscum And Eczema. Can A Dog Cause This?

Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for your query.
Molluscum is a contagious viral disease which is transmitted from one person or animal to another.
Eczema occurs as a result of dryness or irritation to the skin.
Irritation to dogs and cats might result in eczema in children. The cause of eczema is unknown but people have an increase in the symptoms after coming into contact with rough or coarse materials, feeling too hot or too cold, exposure to certain household products like soap or detergent, or coming into contact with animal dander may cause an outbreak.
