Question: My 6 month daughter developed cold symptoms - running nose, sneezing, & watering eyes wen we took her back home in mumbai from my wife's native in haridwar. Next day itself d symptoms went away w/o any medicine. My wife applied little amount of vaporub on her chest n covered her well. Since then 5 days have passed but evday she gets blocked nose early morning which goes away by nasoclear. Entire day she remains fine. Should we consult a doctor for this? Should we take any precaution?

Brief Answer:
Dehydration

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

The baby most likely suffering from dehydration. Please give her enough fluids like boiled and cooled water apart from breast milk. You are doing it right cover her completely at night. Let her be with the mom as much as possible.

I advise you to stop nasoclear and do not use more than three times a day for one drop each nostril.

Hope this helps.
