What Causes Coughing, Sneezing, Sore Throat, Rhinitis, Body Aches And Head Pressure?

My 18 year old daughter has had cold symptoms for almost a week. She has been coughing, sneezing, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, and the chills. Today she is complaining of severe pressure in the back of her head, behing her ears, and down her neck.

Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi,

She can take Paracetamol 500mg as needed and also advised to do steam inhalation with eucalyptus oil if available. Please advise her to remain warm, avoid cold food items and exposure to cold air. If symptoms are persistent then a physical examination and further management is advised.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bakaraju Aruna Shravanthi, Diabetologist
