Child Is Suffering From Pneumonia. What Treatment And Cure Should Be Done?

Sir please advise.
Thanks for your query to health care magic.
Your child's blood investigation is not suggestive of any significant abnormality. But his x-ray is showing patch, which means he has pneumonia. He needs to be started on antibiotics.
If his oral acceptance is good, taking fluids (milk, water etc) adequately and has no breathing difficulty, he can be treated with oral antibiotics at home.
However if his intake is poor i.e. not able to take even fluids, already taken a course of oral antibiotics with no response, has breathing difficulty then he should be preferably admitted for IV drip and iv antibiotics. It will result in quick recovery, predictable response, better monitoring for any further deterioration.
It’s always better to get treated early rather than worsening the condition by delaying treatment.
Don't worry he will be alright. If you have any further queries, I am happy to help or else close the query and rate it.
Take care

thanks for the prompt reply,
i was waiting for the Widal test also, one good newas is that the test is also negative.his breathing is also normal intake is also good, since last 24 hrs no medicine for fever was required the body temperature is also normal.
Sir, i request you please advice me how to improve his immunity and what are the best medicine for dealing with pneumonia.
One doctor has prescribed a combination of Paracetamol and ibruphenfor controlling the fever, whether this should be used for fever or not. i think the combination of the same is banned.
Sir, i forget to mention the antibiotic giving at present
1. Amoxicillin with potassium clavulamate
2. clarithomycin
3. cofcoril
please advice
I am glad to know that your baby is improving. The amoxicillin+clavulanic acid & clarithomycin are appropriate medicine for pneumonia. Do not stop the medication in between as he has improved, do complete the course for 5 or 7 days as prescribed by your pediatrician.
Paracetamol+ibuprofen combination is not needed for simple fever, plain paracetamol is recommended.
There are not many proven medications to boost immunity, except Vitamin C.
A healthy diet containing citrus fruits (lemon, amla, oranges etc) & vegetables will take care.
Hope the information was useful, if you have any further queries I am happy to answer, if not kindly close the query & rate it.
Take care,
