Diagnosed With Parkinson. Is It Safe To Take Recognix, Censpram Lite And Syndopa? Any Side Effects?
Thanks for the query.
The medicines mentioned are used for the management of parkinsonism and these have different side effects like nausea and vomiting are side effects of syndopa plus while ESCITALOPRAM side effects are nausea, constipation, vomiting, diarrhea, sleepiness etc.
There are two important precautions to be taken in patients suffering from Parkinsonism
1...always inform the doctor about the use of these drugs whenever treatment is being taken for any other medical or surgical treatment as many medications can't be given along with anti Parkinsonism medication.
2...regular exercises benefits people with parkinson's disease as this reduces stiffness and improves mobility, posture, balance and gait of the person.
General exercise may also reduce depression. Learning-based memory exercises can also help keep our memory sharp.
I hope to have answered your query however you may revert to me for any further query
Best of luck
Thanks
thankyou
The maintenance of normal muscle tone and function is an important aspect of the treatment of parkinsonism. In part, medication administered for your illness achieves this goal. However, to realize the full benefit of the medication daily exercise and activity are essential.
Since these exercises schedule is vast and can not be explained properly through this forum,I would advise you to consult a physiotherapist and do those exercises which can be accomplished by you easily and properly.
Thanks
our doctor also advised us to consult nefrologist and urologist too the reason being that his conscious sense to go to ureniate is partially lost .pls. help us regarding the same .
thankyou so much and the great effort u have gaken to solve our queries.
thanks.
In parkinsonism you have to deal with urinary problems. Often, though not invariably, the severity of urinary dysfunction tends to correlate with the severity of the underlying Parkinson’s disease.
The most common urinary problem is the urge to go frequently. This need to urinate frequently can cause all kinds of inconveniences. One of the most troublesome is incontinence. This can sometimes be embarrassing. Another problem with frequent urination is that it disrupts your sleep. People with PD have enough problems with sleep without having to wake up and go to the bathroom every couple of hours!
Another problem is difficulty in elimination of urine and the symptoms are
Weak urine stream
Leaking of urine
Feeling of incomplete evacuation of urine
So the management includes
reducing evening fluid intake, emptying the bladder immediately before going to bed, and setting up a bedside commode so that when you need to go in the night all you have to do is sit or stand next to the bed or using diapers instead of making the trip to the bathroom.
Other medical measures include medications for urine urgency and frequency and
Urological assessment by a urologist
Thanks
