Hello

Gastritis needs to be managed carefully with diet and lifestyle changes. It can be severe esp in people prone to the disease. Ideally acid peptic disease should be graded. Some individuals require prescription drugs as well as dietary changes.

Others can benefit with only diet changes. You are already on some medicines, mostly long term so you will be prone to gastritis.

Most important thing to remember,
1) Never stay on an empty stomach.
2) Small meals at regular intervals is beneficial.
3) Try to avoid oily, spicy fired foods.
4) Baked and boiled food should help.
5) Vegetables are good.
6) Lean meat is good.
7) Never take your medicines on an empty stomach.
8) Try to eat at fixed timings
9) Avoid alcohol,smoking.

Bland food several times a week should be beneficial.
If at all the acidity get severe, you can take OTC medicines like syrup Gelusil or Tab Omeprazole.
In case of continous pain, you will require higher grade prescription antacids.

The morphine can cause gastritis so use with caution.
