Dizziness Post Exercise, Chest Tightness, Plays Sports. Treatment ?

Question: 12 yr old son - has had a couple of dizzy/unwell episodes about 30 mins after exercise in the last two weeks. Also complains of chest tightness when doing hard exercise like football training or tennis coaching. Plays county level cricket. He's had the chest tightness on occasions for a few years.

The dizzy spells after exercise can be probably due to
1. Dehydration or electrolyte imbalance - Regular intake of rejuvenating fluids during exercise might help. Apart from the sports drinks which contain glucose and electrolytes he must have enough water alongwith to combat dehydration.
2. Low blood sugar - Taking a light breakfast, preferably some lean protein and/or complex carbohydrate with a little healthy fat-- before the exercise or immediately after the exercise might help him.
3, Low blood pressure can also be the reason - Ask him to breathe deeply after the exercise.
Having chest tightness might be due to lung causes- allergy or infection or due to some cardiac problems.
4. Anemia - A few blood test will rule out this condition.

A detailed examination from his pediatrician and test is entailed to diagnose the problem and further treatment.
