Brief Answer:
Kideny failure due to Acid Reflux Medicine is not reported

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query regarding possibility of Renal Failure due to H2 receptor antagonist (Anti Reflux Medicines)I would like to state that there are no proven data or study being reported that these medications can cause renal failure after being used for 2-3 years .

In view of you having urinary stone disease since 30 years you need to check up frequently to asses the renal function by doing
1) Renal Function tests and
2) Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen to rule out recurrence of stones .

I do not think you should discontinue anti reflux medicines ,

You may reduce the dose once daily .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.
