Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

No, leg cramps rather do not cause veins thrombosis. However if leg cramps are strong, can cause muscles strain which can give muscle pain and pain while walking.
Deep veins thrombosis gives usually hardness, swelling, redness and pain of the calf, sometimes of the thigh. Sometimes it is very hard to determine if there is veins thrombosis or not without additional tests and for sure it is impossible to rule it out from the point of this service.
So if you are able to visit a doctor, please do it. D-dimers level should be checked and if elevated, Dopplers ultrasound should be done.
For leg cramps please start Magnesium with Potassium supplementation and decrease the amount of coffee.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

Coffee and caffeinated drinks like coke cause magnesium deficiency. Magnesium is necessary for proper nerves function. Deficiency of it leads to nrves hypersesitivity what causes leg cramps as well as nervousnes.
