Do Fever And Sore Throat For More Than 3 Days Need Medical Attention?
Question: Hello.
I wanted to ask something regarding my influence that stared 3 days ago. Today is the 3rd day. I have fever that goes till 37.8 centigrades and than slowly gets down. I have a little sore throat and all the sings of a normal influence
I have been taking some paracetamol and I get well but after 8 hours everything begins. Should I see a doctor or you suggest me to continue with paracetamol?

Yes i suggest you to see the doctor cause you have the symptoms for more than 3 days. I would be better if you get your throat physically examined. And antibiotics would be better if at all any infection is diagnosed.
if i were your treating doctor i would prescribe Tab. Augmentin 625. see if your treating shares the same opinion.
Along with the medicines follow the home remedies like steam inhalation and salt water gargling 2 times a day.

In fact I try not to use medicine because two times antibiotic couse me some allergic reaction and now I am scared even using paracetamol. I took only 500 mg of paracetamol twice a day. I want to emphasize that even my husband and my kid are sick. They have same symptoms. It looks something like viral infection. Today I feel better with my sore throat and the temperature went up till 37.4 and than it slowed down 36.9 by itself.
