Do Hormonal Supplements Affect Thyroid Levels?

Question: I am getting ready to do the hcg diet. I have to get blood tests to check my thyroid levels. Will the hcg affect my blood test?

I will only be taking the hcg till October 5. If I wait a few weeks after it is out of my system, would the thyroid blood test be reliable for my doctor then?
