No Hepatitis or Cirrohsis?
Brief Answer:
Follow up
Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
Hepatitis is a viral infection that causes elevation of liver enzymes.
Elevation of liver enzyme is a common sign in a number of liver problem. So to be sure you don't have hepatitis you should undergo serum serology test for Heptitis A,B,C,E and for cirrhosis an ultrasound should be done.
However as all liver enzymes are normal there is no need for that.

So what you're saying is that since the enzymes are in check, I don't have Cirrohsis or Hepatitis?
Brief Answer:
Follow up.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again, No what i mean to say is that elevated liver enzymes are indicator of problem in liver. So as liver enzymes ard normal chances of having liver disease is rare.
However specifically to rule out cirrhosis ultrasonogram should be done and to rule out hepatitis viral marker serology should be done.
Thanks.
