Brief Answer:
All seems good
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I've gone through the medical details of your father, I understand your concern for his health.
I would like to inform you that all the medicines which are currently going on are enough and they are suiting him as well. His blood pressure is also very well controlled.
The prescription needs no change. I would like to suggest you get one Echocardiography done to see how well the heart pumping is at present if not done in the last 6 months.
I hope this information will be helpful and will answer your query.
Kind Regards
Dr Bhanu Partap

Hello,
Thanks for the prompt and precise answer.
I would like to have clarity on Amlodipine (5mg) (which is an addition with his Previous medications since he had a stroke on 14th XXXXXXX 2017) should be continued till how many more months. Are there any side effects for long term use?
Alternatively can he not get Repace 50 mg power increased to Repace H (if feasible).
Thanks for the prompt and precise answer.

Brief Answer:
Hello Again
Detailed Answer:
No in my opinion its best for him to continue with Amlodipine rather than Repace H. Its because H is Hydrocholthiazide which is a diuretic and it increase urine formation and also can alter electrolyte levels due to which patient can feel fatigued or dizzy or weak.
Every medicine has its own side effect but as he is on a low dose that wont cause any issues. So continue with the same ongoing medicines.
Hope to have been helpful.

Hello Again
Detailed Answer:
He should continue taking amlodipine at the same time on which he is already taking. No need to change any timing for the medications as his blood pressure is well maintained on this schedule.
Feel free to ask if you have any other doubts or else you can close the discussion and rate the answer.
