Does Azilect Take Too Long To Wean Off?

Question: How long does take to get off Azilect? I now have trigenimal ne
uralgia again and need to take a pain killer like carbatrol

I appreciate your concern

If you are using 1 mg azilect then you can reduce the dose to one and a half pills of 0.5 daily for 4 days then 0.5 mg daily for 3 days and so on. Upon reaching a half pill of 0.5 mg for 3 days you can stop the pill altogether.

Both azilect and carbatrol (Carbamaezepine) can be used together as they have no significant interaction.
