Does Bayer Aspirin Cause Burping?
Question: I bit off a piece of Bayer aspirin 325 mg on Tuesday night. Next morning my stomach felt funny and I have been burping off and on ever since. Also there is pain on my scapula (very tender to touch). Could aspirin have caused my problem. I am considering a back massage later. Thank you Doctor.
Brief Answer:
Can cause this.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
See aspirin can cause acidity and reflux. That funny feeling might be because if that.
I would advise you to take Pantoprazole 40 mg one tablet stat.
If your problem persists even after that write to me again.
As far as your scapular pain is concerned it us unlikely to be due to Aspirin.
I would advise you to do hot fomentation there because if it is tender in that area this might be due to muscular spasm. If you have any symptoms like cough , fever let me know.
If you have any further query please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
