Brief Answer:
it is very rare side effect of champix

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. As such champix does not cause any sexual dysfunction.

In rare case it causes erectile dysfunction in male and decrease sexual desire in female.

Your wife has problem only after starting champix then only possibility of this side effect.

One other possibility is stopping smoking leads to withdrawal symptoms. Due to that she may have low desire. We need to differentiate form history.

- Is her menses regular?

- Does she have any urogenital problem?

- Was problem started only after starting champix?

- Is there any other physical or psychological problem?

I will be happy to help further after your response.

Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
