Does Clomzpam Affect Drug Test Results?
Question: I had to take a swab quest drug test today...I smoked Saturday night and took it today at 4 pm? There are other problems I take anti depressants including clomzpam. The other problem I had was I didn't have enough sliva in my mouth so I had to have a glass of water and try again. Has it been long enough since for the test to come back negative? Are my depression meds going to effect the test? And will drinking the water with in 5 minutes of the second test make it come back saying to diluted to test?

I smoked the canabis Saturday night around 8pm...I took the Quest oral saliva test that is sent in to quest at 4pm today which is Wednesday..it is a swab that turns blue when it has enought saliva to send to test..it's new
2 the antidepressants I'm on are older drugs because im allergic to SSRI's. I take 100mg Lamictal, 30mg remoron. 1mg clonazepam and I have 1mg PRN for bad days ( I know that the clonazepam is a benso...I've been taking it for 15 years and I worry because it is a controlled substance but is prescribed by my doc)
3) I am concerned weather the THC will come up positive on the saliva test,,, and a little worried about the clonazepam but I do have a prescription for it..will or do you think I will pass this drug test to get this job..I've never been tested before
Other things that might help you I am 52, weigh 145lbs and have not smoked pot till this year... I smoke one or twice a month for stress or migraines and my therapist has knowledge of this

You smoked on saturday night and the saliva was tested on wednesday. that gives your body roughly 4 days to metabolize the cannabis that you have had. Now 4 days is sufficient period to get your saliva test come negative. Mostly you will be safe.
If they had taken hair sample then you would have certainly been in trouble. Cannabis generally is undetectable in saliva after 3-4 days.

Will they test the clonazepam? And will it be a substance the Quest oral Eze test looks for? If I have a valid prescription for this drug here in kentucky if it tests positive do you think it will be a factor in passing the test or is the test just looking for illegal narcotics? I've been taking it every day one to two times a day 1mg since 1999. I know it has a 36 hour half life so it is in my system.
Also there was the problem with the saliva in my mouth..the first test we had to throw away for lack of saliva. The person giving it to me gave me 8 oz of water seconds before I took the test again I still had a problem with the saliva in my mouth but the blue dot appeared showing we could send it in for testing. Do you think the water I drank will dilute the saliva so much that I might have to be retested?
