Endone causes dizziness, drowsiness, low blood pressure, vomiting and cardiorespiratory failure in high doses. Tramal also causes similar complaints in addition to abdominal pain, urinary disturbances, tremors, cramping sensations etc.

Should patient keep taking BOTH painkillers? Now in fourth week of high dosage following falls on two successive days. Suffers stress in domestic life, beginning to forget daily routines eg forgetting to put lower denture in mouth before going out. How long before patient becomes addicted to either/ both of these painkillers? Thankyou

Brief Answer:
Needs a Neurologist
Detailed Answer:
Only one of the pain killers will be fine. Better to consult a Neurologist or Psychiatrist to rule out disorders which can cause the patient to be forgetful and experiencing frequent falls. Alzheimers needs to be ruled out. It usually takes a couple of months before habituation to these drugs begins.
