Does Evaserve For Blocked Fallopian Tube Cause Delay In Periods?

Question: Hi,
I am trying to conceive from past 1 year. I have gone through laproscopy in XXXXXXX 2015 and found that one of Fallopian tube is blocked. My doctor suggested me to start taking Evaserve alongwith Blong F and Fertisure F. I also took CCQ50 from day 2 to day 7 . Now my periods are delayed, usually my cycle length is 25 days but its 3 days late now. Could it be because of Evaserve medicine? Does it cause any delay in periods?
Please suggest.

Hello

I understand your concerns about evaserve and delayed periods.

Delayed periods are not due to Evaserve. Evaserve contains a medicine called DHEA. This does not cause delay in periods.

Delayed periods are due to change in ovulation dates because of taking CCQ 50. These medicines are known to superovulate more than one follicle and cause delay in periods.

Another possibility is pregnancy. Please do home urine pregnancy test after 4 days if there is no periods by then.

Thanks for the response.
My periods got started today but not as usual , its 5 days late than. What could be the reason behind late periods?
Can I start Clomid from day 2 ? Is this true that clomid should be taken only for 3 consecutive months ?
Is there any alternative of clomid that can help me. I don't have PCOS. The only issue I have is that my left fallopiun tube is blocked while ovaries and right FP tube is perfectly fine. Please suggest .

You can start clomid again

Hi

Good. Periods have arrived little late due to reasons about clomiphene induction I mentioned before.

You can take Clomid from day 2 . I would prefer an ultrasound scan before starting Clomid.

Clomid is good enough. There is no alternate and not even necessary.

Since your problem is blocked tubes, Clomid should help you to get more eggs to ovulate.
