What Does Right Peritoneal Spillage Indicate In HSG?
I am a 34 year old and have been trying to get pregnant for the past 5 years now i did a HSG with the dye proceedure which indicated that I have a right peritoneal spillage? What does that mean? Does that mean there is a problem with the left? Because they said my womb & Fallopian tubes are both normal.

What Does Right Peritoneal Spillage Indicate In HSG?
Hello, Spillage of dye on right side suggests patent right fallopian tube. Absence of dye spillage on left side indicates blockage on left side. Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
