sedation due to drugs, yes for acetaminophen,
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking!
let me first address the mental abilities and walking issues after taking the medicines. That is because of sedation and dizziness and potentiation effect of lyrica and diazepam together. Dose of diazepam needs to be tapered with lyrica or avoided at all.
Your doctor is right at suspecting the sinogenic cause for the facial pain.the pending CT labs will confirm whether he is right or not. If he is that will go way within 7 days of treatment as no sinogenic facial pain secondary to sinus troubles has lasted more than that in literature.
For the pain meanwhile yes you can take some acetaminophen but do not exceed 3000 mg in 24 hours.
You are already responding with just one dose, just give it some more time, you will be fine. meanwhile reduce the dose of diazepam and lyrica to prevent side effects like dizziness and sedation and yes you can take some acetaminophen for the pain relief. And continue the antibiotics for at least 5 to 7 days to see the sinus infections cleared.
Get to an otorhinolaryngologist if the issue persisted for more than seven days which is least likely. That case , it would need a little more digging for non sinogenic causes for facial pains like headaches, migraines, trigeminal neuralgia etc. But the odds for that to happen are very slight.
I hope it helps.Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.
