Does Multivitamin And Monistat Cream Cause Tachycardia And Palpitation?

Question: i have sick sinus syndrome, used my 2nd dose of monistat 3 cream tonight, I am also tired from working late and took an over 50 women's multi vitamin today. I am having lots of palpitations and am a little tachy. I looked up the side effects for the vag cream, I think it may be the vitamin. My last pacer interrogation was fine, I wasn't even pacing at all and no svt or v tach was recorded. I think I will just have to endure the palpitations for awhile. what do you think ?

Brief Answer: Tachycardia not due to Multi-vitamin Detailed Answer: Hi Welcome to Healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day Dear Ms Tachycardia and palpitation is not likely to be due to Multivitamin and Monistat cream. Monistat is Miconazole which is anti-fungal agent and topical/local application will not cause alteration in cardiac rhythm. Taking single tablet of "Over 50" multivitamin is unlikely to cause effect on cardiac activity. I hope you are not consuming excess caffeine.
