What Causes Dizziness And Body Tremors In An SVT Patient?
Hi i have been diagnosed with SVT which i have for the past 2 years, was dealing with it fairly ok until about 4 weeks ago i had a run of SVT when i was out one night.Went to toilets and was able to stop them myself but about 3 days later i became very light headed and have this most of the time since and have slight body tremors for the past 2 months approx.Would appreciate any input kk
You are doing fairly ok with the SVT, however definite treatment aims at the cause of SVT. Certain specific types of SVT like AVNRT are successfully treated with electrophysiological studies and radiofrequency ablation (EP/RFA).
Hard to understand the terminologies, though but with a simple message I will forward my opinion that there is much to offer to an SVT patient beyond drugs. If you feel dizzy most of the time during SVT runs with drops of B.P or you are a competent driver or related to a much demanding profession; then you should go for EP/RFA.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Syed Hashim Ali Shah, General & Family Physician
