Brief Answer:
Yes, Nicotine has pesticide properties..

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Nicotine has certain toxic properties and it kills pests and insects and has been used by farmers to kill insects in the farms.

But in case of human beings we have bacteria in mouth as well as some amounts of fungus and when they are present in limited numbers there is no infection.

It is true that nicotine does not kill oral bacteria and being a pesticide and an anti-bacterial agent are two different things as all pests are not bacteria..

Therefore nicotine will kill all bacteria in mouth and prevent infections is no where in the researches.

As you have already quit the intake of tobacco it is a very good sign and you should not ever start the intake.

For oral infections it is better to take proper advice from a trained dentist and get treated by proper medications..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
