Can Metrogyl Cause Headaches As Side Effects?

hi my wife is 35 years old she had a gum infection and her dentist prescribed her amoxcyllin capsules 500 mg one capsule 3 times daily she was taking these for three days and later her dentist prescribed her metrogyl 200mg to take three times a day. Since then she has been taking metrogyl she has been having consistant headaches. can metrogyl cause headaches and should she stop taking these? Regards

Hi,

Metrogyl can cause headache and nausea as side effects, but these are transient and go itself after stoppage of drug. If the headache is bearable, you are advised to complete the treatment of Metrogyl.
