Does Prednisone Intake Cause Anxiety?

Question: Hi I was recently diagnosed with labyrinthitis that I have been dealing with since Christmas. My doctor saw me and said I moved fine and didn't see anything neurological. she put me on prednisone and last night my anxiety went through the roof because I started feeling worse with vertigo. could it be from the prednisone.

It requires a very high dose for causing depression and other psychiatric abnormality in susceptible individuals. There is no cause for concern. Can I still get vertigo issues with labyrinthitis even though it's been over 2 months? the sensation of movement

Brief Answer: Recurrence of labyrnthitis can cause vertigo Detailed Answer: Hi Greetings If there is active labyrnthitis there is usually associated vertigo Recurrence of the inflammation can also cause recurrence of vertigo.
