Brief Answer:
Mayo clinic is right to say so

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

I like to inform you that you have genuine concerns as prozac and geode should not be prescribed together. There is well documented risk of increase risk of arrhythmia particularly due to increase in qt prolongation. Mayo clinic website is right to state that there are interaction and use of them in same patient should be avoided as far as possible.

Being female and at 60 years of age is independent risk factor for qt prolongation and I think this need to be corrected as far as possible.

I request you to see your doctor and discuss the same.

I hope this helps you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
This is area of concern

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for follow up.

Increasing heart rate is ok due to anxiety but in case it is due to dry drug interactions at is important area of concern.

Since you are going to see your doctor on tomorrow there is good possibility that you will either get the rationale for combined prescription or one of the medication will be replaced by more convenient and safer option.

I hope this helps you.
