Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I read carefully your query.
Weight gain and inability to lose weight are known side effects of antipsychotics ,including Seroquel( Quetiapine ).This is part of metabolic changes in body ,induced by Quetiapine.
Considering this,is possible that this is the cause why you can't lose weight easily.
I would suggest to discuss this with your treating doctor to establish together a course of action. He can decide if you need a change in your actual medication.
Let me know if you have any question.I would be happy to help.
Kind regards,
