Can Seroquel And Effexor Cause Red Rashes On Chin?

Hi, I am taking seroquel and effexor. I have developed a bright red rash on my chin which at first i thought was acne but it doesn t look or feel like normal acne. Wondering if either of these medications could be causing this reaction. I have been diagnosed with type II bipolar disorder and am considering asking my doctor if I can start to come off the effexor and just take seroquel. Thoughts?

Hi,

Nothing to worry about. If you experience lethargy and fatigue then you need to get your full blood count and stool for occult blood done. Complete five days of the medication.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rana Ahsan Javed, General & Family Physician
