Premature ejaculation
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
I am thrilled to hear that you have recovered from cancer therapy. you are now back into life and dating. But you have noticed you have premature ejaculation. This is a common condition and probably is not related to medication you are currently taking. For my patients I usually try using a medication called an SSRI to help reduce the ejaculation from occurring too early in sex. SSRIs are also known as antidepressants like Prozac and paxil. These medications cause the penis and the nerves of the penis to be less sensitive and allow for erections to last longer without causing ejaculation. I would also recommend looking into meditation and relaxation exercises to reduce your anxiety surrounding sex. Your partner may also help by being supportive and willing to try to reduce the anxiety associated with premature ejaculation.
In summary
1. premature ejaculations are common
2. Usually due to anxiety
3. Reduce anxiety
4. Try slowing sex and stopping before ejaculations
5. Lastly try SSRI like Prozac or Paxil
