Brief Answer:
you can use it but may be drowsy

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The main possible interaction is an increased risk of drowsiness. They both have a sedative effect.

The half life of promethazine is 9 to 16 hours, this is the time it takes for the amount of medication in the system to decrease by half.
It takes approximately three to four half lives for a medication to be completely eliminated.
Since 2 1/2 hours have passed since the promethazine, the levels would be decreasing though at this point would not be a large decrease.

2.5 mg is a small dose however, most conditions require 12.5 or 25 mg. Because the dose is so small, it should be ok

You can use the tramadol but you may be very drowsy

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Brief Answer:
increased risk of being very very sleepy

Detailed Answer:
HI

The pills for adults are normally 25 mg to 50 mg in strength.

Because, you would have used 2 1/2 of either of these, this would mean that you have a big chance of being very very drowsy.

If you are staying home with no driving at all for today, you do not have to operate any machinery or sharp objects then it should be ok

If you have to leave, this may make you too sleepy to function properly

Please feel free to ask anything else
